Where our hospitality teams work

Our teams work in hotels and restaurants, in the kitchen and front of house, and in housekeeping and banqueting. Service comes in waves, so shifts often split around lunch and dinner and run through weekends. Guests notice everything, which makes presentation, hygiene and a calm manner under pressure part of the job.

What we put in place

  • Recruitment and selection for kitchen and front of house
  • Written temporary work contracts, insurance and all paperwork
  • Food handling certifications confirmed for every kitchen role
  • Someone from Job On alongside your team at the venue, from start to finish

Frequently asked questions

Can you cover split shifts and weekend service?

Yes. Hotels and restaurants live on that pattern, and it is part of the conversation before recruitment and selection begins. Tell us which services need covering, front of house or kitchen, and Job On builds the team around your service hours.

Do kitchen staff come with food handling certifications?

We confirm that as part of selection. Job On checks the certifications each kitchen role calls for and keeps the records with the rest of the worker paperwork. If your hotel or restaurant asks for something extra, tell us and we build it into the profile.

Do you work with hotels outside Portugal?

Yes. Job On works with companies in Portugal and other European countries, from the head office in Lisbon and the office in Tilburg. Wherever the property is, the written temporary work contracts, the insurance and the paperwork are handled by a licensed agency, Alvará 1002/24.
